I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the United States in my early twenties. From my childhood memories I remember my first exposure to the feeling of a camera in my hands. It is hard to tell now, but I believe it was my uncle’s Alex. He has always been a very good photographer and most of great images of me as a child were taken by him.

I answered my hands calling for the feeling of a camera several years ago and have been humbled by this form of art ever since.
